This website provides materials and links to support physical education for Horizons! The USDA recommends that children should do about 60 minutes of physical activity each day, and this should include aerobic activities (think running, etc) and strengthening activities. Since children are often active in short bursts of time, these short bursts can add up to meet physical activity needs. My goal for this summer is to provide a range of developmentally-appropriate and fun activities each week!
